Sunday, August 10 - Temazcal Ceremony & Ofrenda to Itzpapalotl We step into the warmth of the temazcal to begin our journey with blessing & purification. After the ceremony, take time to rest in the pool. Then, together, we will build a beautiful tlamanalli (offering) to Itzpapalotl to call her into our journey.

Monday, August 11 - Pachamama Ceremony & Offering We come together to make an offering to the land and to the sacred mountain that calls us forward on this pilgrimage. With hearts full of gratitude, we thank the guardians for the life they sustain in this sacred valley. We ask for permission to approach the mountain tomorrow.

Tuesday, August 12- Montaña Sagrada & Pueblo Mágico Today we approach the powerful mountain we've been in communion with since our arrival. You have the option to walk partway up the base. Afterwards, we’ll visit local artisans to shop for obsidian tools, then spend the afternoon exploring el pueblo mágico de Peña de Bernal.

Wednesday, August 13- Santuario de Itzpapalotl Our knowledgeable guide Alberto takes us on a visit to a ceremonial site dedicated to Itzpapalotl. We’ll learn the history of the site, hear more about Itzpapalotl, and admire mural artworks of the Obsidian Butterfly, created as offerings to her.

Thursday, August 14 - Final Temazcal & Closing Ceremony We’ll enter the temazcal one final time, offering gratitude to the energies, ancestors, and guardians who have walked with us throughout this journey. In the evening, we’ll gather in a closing ceremony with cacao— sharing reflections, giving thanks, and closing the altar we opened to Itzpapalotl.
